Collaborator [email protected] Fabusuyi John received degree in Chemical Engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Budapest, Hungary, in 2013 and the M.Sc degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Instituto Superior Tecnico, Lisboa, Portugal in 2015. In 2016, he started a Ph.D in Petroleum Engineering at the Instituto Superior Tecnico, Lisboa, Portugal. His current research interest include petroleum production, enhanced oil recovery, reservoir simulation end engineering. |

Collaborator [email protected] BSc in Geology (2005) and Civil Engineering (2009), both from U. Coimbra. MSc in Geological and Mining Engineering (2009) from U. Coimbra and MSc in Petroleum Engineering (2015) from Instituto Superior Técnico, with the thesis "Pore pressure prediction and modeling using seismic velocities". Currently he is a PhD student in Petroleum Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico (Universidade de Lisboa) and his main research interests are related with reservoir geomechanics and geostatistical seismic inversion for rock masses and complex reservoir modeling. This research is developed in straight collaboration with the main national oil companies. |

His current research interests are Reservoir Characterization (Integration of Seismic and Production Information) under the supervision of Professor Amilcar Soares. Collaborator [email protected] Luã Monteiro has a degree in petroleum and gas technologist, master degree in materials engineering and now is a PhD student in petroleum engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico. He is a permanent professor at Instituto Federal Fluminense in Brazil responsible for the disciplines related with oil and gas industry. He also oriented more than 10 students in their final project and now is working on Single Well Solvent Cyclic Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage using Electric Submersible Pump in Onshore Heavy Oil Mature Fields for his Phd work. |

Collaborator [email protected] Pedro has a Degree in Geological Engineering (2012) and Master in Geological Resources (2014), both graduations from University of Aveiro. His Master’s thesis titled “Geostatistical inversion of 3D seismic data with local multi-distributions” was developed at the scientific research center of CERENA (Instituto Superior Técnico – University of Lisbon). Currently he is a researcher of the CERENA/Petroleum Group and a PhD student which main scientific research is related with geostatistical seismic inversion methodologies for hydrocarbon reservoir modeling and uncertainty assessment. Furthermore, he participated as an oral presenter in the 78th EAGE Conference & Exhibition 2016 (Vienna, Austria) and in the 11th geoENV Conference 2016 (Lisbon, Portugal). He is an author of a paper that is under reviewing stage and also contributed as a co-author in the publishing of two papers in the journals of Mathematical Geosciences and Geophysical Prospecting. He is a member of SPE, SEG and EAGE associations and one of the officers of SEG Student Chapter at Instituto Superior Técnico. |

Collaborator [email protected] Saif Daoud has a Bachelor degree in Applied Engineering Geophysics in Damascus University (1982), and Diploma in IT Networking and Cabling, Syria. Also he worked in the Oil & Gas industry, more specifically in exploration and production area, in more than 15 years allowing the acquisition of some knowledge and experience directly in the field. In 2014, he came to Portugal and joined Instituto Superior Técnico – University of Lisbon and the research center – CERENA/Petroleum Group as PhD student and currently he is working in main topics of reservoir engineering. |

He majored in Reservoir Engineering and performed his graduation MSc thesis within TOTAL E&P- CSTJF, undergo the project title: Well placement Optimization using Statistical Proxy Model”, July 2016. He also has a BSc degree in Petroleum Production Engineering concluded in 2014 at the University of Boumerdes, Algeria. Currently he's a PhD student of Petroleum Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico (Lisbon University). His current research interests are Assisted History matching and Well placement Optimization using advanced Machine Learning technologies, and statistical learning theory methods. |
